Ben Rosemblaum is a French-Israeli photographer, artist, and communications professional whose work spans the intersection of art, politics, and public diplomacy.
Originally from Paris, Ben immigrated to Israel at the age of 15. During his military service, he served in the IDF Youth Corps Headquarters and as a "teacher-soldier" supporting the integration of new immigrants. This early experience in education and cultural mediation laid the foundation for his lifelong commitment to combining storytelling with impact.
Ben pursued his undergraduate studies at Reichman University, earning a B.A. in Government, Diplomacy, and Strategy, with a specialization in Counterterrorism and Homeland Security. He also completed a certificate in European Studies. While studying, he interned at the Abba Eban Chair for International Diplomacy and worked with the France-Israel Foundation on the first international “Meet in Galilee” opera and medical symposium—an innovative fusion of music and science in the city of Acre.
Professionally, Ben has worked as a regional analyst focusing on North Africa (Maghreb) and as a Hebrew teacher at an Ulpan, often providing guidance to immigrant families navigating their integration into Israeli society. His commitment to education continued with a two-and-a-half-year tenure as an educator at Mikve Israel High School.
Alongside his academic and professional pursuits, Ben has steadily developed his artistic career. His paintings and photographs have been exhibited widely in Israel and abroad, including at charity events and independent galleries. In 2021, he opened a gallery space to support and showcase emerging artists.
Following the October 7th, 2023 attacks, Ben stepped into a new role as a war photographer and documentarian, joining delegations of senior European officials visiting the aftermath of the atrocities. His visual testimony became a powerful tool for international advocacy and remembrance.
He later joined ELNET – European Leadership Network, where he initially served as Deputy Communications Manager, and now leads as Head of Communications at ELNET-Israel, coordinating efforts across ELNET’s European offices. His photography and video work have been featured across Israeli and European media, and his strategic communications efforts have helped amplify the voices of Israel’s supporters around the world.
Ben continues to work at the crossroads of art, diplomacy, and advocacy, committed to ensuring that truth is seen, heard, and remembered.
